Original job description

This is more than a recruiting role. It is an opportunity to influence the future talent landscape of a global manufacturing leader. The successful candidate will play a critical role in building pipelines of technical, operational, commercial, and leadership talent while helping align recruitment strategies with broader talent development, workforce planning, and leadership initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings energy, urgency, business acumen, and strong consultative skills, with the ability to build relationships across the organization and engage top talent in highly competitive markets. This position requires occasional travel to RBC Bearings locations to deepen partnerships with leaders, understand local workforce needs, and strengthen the company's talent acquisition efforts across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for professional, technical, operational, leadership, and confidential roles across RBC Bearings.
  • Partner directly with the talent strategy team and business leaders to build talent strategies that support growth, succession planning, and long-term organizational capability.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business objectives, workforce requirements, talent gaps, and future leadership needs.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions across engineering, manufacturing, operations, commercial, and leadership functions.
  • Conduct talent mapping, market intelligence, and competitive analysis to identify and engage top talent.
  • Create and execute innovative sourcing strategies that attract passive candidates and strengthen RBC's employer brand.
  • Assess candidates for technical expertise, leadership potential, cultural alignment, and long-term growth capability.
  • Partner with leadership to align recruiting activities with broader talent management and leadership development initiatives.
  • Drive offer strategy and candidate engagement efforts to successfully close high-demand talent in competitive markets.
  • Travel to RBC Bearings facilities to establish strong partnerships with local leaders, understand workforce challenges, and support enterprise-wide talent initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on talent market trends, workforce planning, organizational capability, and hiring best practices.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience & Education

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Sales, or a related field preferred, but not required.
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience in manufacturing, industrial, technical, or professional environments.
  • Proven ability to recruit and close high-quality talent across professional, technical, and leadership roles.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to partner effectively with leaders, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel periodically to RBC Bearings locations to support hiring and talent initiatives.
