Site Reliability Engineering Lead

About the company Our client is a financial technology company. The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Take end-to-end responsibility for cloud environments, release pipelines and security controls for a growing software business. The role works in person alongside the founding leadership group, scoping and delivering infrastructure and security initiatives with the engineering team. What you'll do

• Take end-to-end responsibility for cloud environments and every release to production.
• Work with the founders to scope infrastructure and security initiatives that contribute to the business.
• Run containerized workloads on a managed Kubernetes platform in live environments.
• Collaborate with the engineering team in person, five days a week.

Requirements

What we're looking for

• Experience owning an infrastructure stack or major infrastructure components at a high-growth technology company.
• Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure on AWS and with infrastructure-as-code tooling.
• Prior work operating containerized workloads on a managed Kubernetes service.
• Experience as an SRE, infrastructure engineer or backend engineer at an infrastructure-focused company.
• Experience managing relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
• An engineering degree in any discipline.

Bonus points

• Familiarity with SOC 2 compliance requirements.
• A degree from a top-50 school.
