Senior Software Engineer

About the company Our client is a fast-growing financial technology company. The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Build and own backend features for a software product used by a company's customers, working end-to-end in a high-autonomy environment. Apply strong algorithm and architecture skills, and work daily with code-generation assistants. What you'll do

• Own product features from design through delivery in a fast-moving startup setting.
• Build and scale backend systems that process high-value transactions at volume.
• Work daily with code-generation assistants to speed up feature delivery, with each change checked by a reviewer.
• Design robust infrastructure for complex, rule-heavy business logic.
• Build backend features for customers as part of a product engineering team.

Requirements

What we're looking for

• 4 to 10 years of experience, currently at senior level or above; candidates with 5+ years must already hold a senior title.
• Background at product-focused software companies.
• Strong data structures and algorithms fundamentals, with the ability to write solutions by hand without AI assistance.
• Experience at high-growth, well-regarded technology companies.
• Ability to architect software that runs reliably across many servers under heavy load.
• Comfort working every day with assistant-based code generation tools.
• Hands-on experience building customer-facing product features rather than internal platform or infrastructure work. Bonus points
• Computer Science bachelor's degree from a highly ranked university.
