Senior Product Engineer

About the company Our client is a fast-growing software company. The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own software products from concept through delivery, covering server-side services, integrations and the user-facing applications. Work closely with leadership to shape product direction, moving from contributing early on to independently deciding what gets built. What you'll do

• Build and ship products end to end, including backend services, system integrations and client applications.
• Develop evaluation frameworks and feedback loops that improve the performance of AI agents on real workloads.
• Instrument failures and convert real usage scenarios into reproducible tests.
• Generate and drive product ideas rather than only executing assigned work.
• Move quickly from exploring the codebase to owning meaningful pieces of the product and then proposing new directions.

Requirements

What we're looking for

• 3 to 8 years of experience as a software engineer shipping production systems end to end.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/React.
• A proven zero-to-one track record with real success; a founder background is ideal.
• Strong product sense and the ability to design a user interface and own a product from start to finish.
• Solid cloud and infrastructure skills, including AWS familiarity and comfort with infrastructure as code.
• Well-formed views on how to design AI agents and on working with AI-assisted development workflows.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to take an ill-defined problem and ship a solution without detailed direction.
• A first-principles approach to solving problems.
