Product Engineer

About the company Our client is a fast-growing technology company. The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Build and ship product features that bring modern AI tools into user-facing apps, internal operations tools and backend services on a multi-sided platform. The role takes ownership of product areas from design through delivery, works alongside product and design partners, and changes focus as priorities shift from quarter to quarter. What you'll do

• Apply existing AI tooling and models across customer-facing apps, internal operations tools and the platform to automate manual steps.
• Guide work across client-side and server-side code while coaching fellow engineers.
• Design and build real-time matching, automated screening flows, distributed systems and APIs.
• Own product areas from design through delivery, working alongside product and design partners.
• Work with the CTO on technical architecture and product roadmap.

Requirements

What we're looking for

• 3+ years owning features and products at high-growth startups, ideally in a founding or early engineering role, with measurable business results.
• Solid working knowledge of a typed JavaScript-based web stack and a relational database.
• Track record of building 0-to-1 AI-powered products at fast-growing startups with strong teams.
• Computer Science or other technical degree from a top-ranked university.
• Strong product instincts and a habit of thinking about user problems and business impact across the organization.
• Comfortable leading projects with high velocity, ambiguity and cross-functional complexity.
• Willing to work in person on site five days per week.

Bonus points

• Breadth of experience across multiple domains, such as marketplaces, matching systems, multi-sided platforms or operationally complex industries.
• Experience integrating large language models or agents into real products, including prompting and tool wiring.
