Full Stack Software Engineer

About the company Our client is an artificial intelligence company. The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Build user-facing features and server-side services across a software product, carrying work from design through release with real ownership. The role suits someone at ease shaping how new functionality should behave when no established pattern exists yet. What you'll do

• Build interfaces and backend services in TypeScript and React.
• Work on the core logic of an automated conversational system, including timing and responsiveness.
• Create tools that let customers configure, test, and review automated agents.
• Work with research teams to bring new models into live production systems.
• Help define and scope projects, not only build them.
• Bring care and polish to the interface, the API, and the end-user experience.

Requirements

What we're looking for

• Experience shipping work across both frontend and backend code, with a lean toward either side.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-based agents, such as agent harnesses, evaluation tooling, or orchestration.
• Experience running LLM features in production, including latency-sensitive or real-time systems.
• A track record of taking loosely defined problems to production with little direction.
• Makes AI coding assistants a part of everyday development work.
• Solid engineering fundamentals and a habit of taking pride in how polished the finished work feels.
• Willingness to change your position when the evidence points elsewhere, with low ego.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco.

Bonus points

• Computer science degree.
• Experience with B2B SaaS or enterprise customers.
• Experience at early-stage companies or startups.
• Familiarity with durable or high-volume backend processing, such as job queues or workflow engines.
• Experience with audio, speech, or real-time communications systems.
