Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the company Our client is a healthcare technology company. The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Build and ship AI-driven software features from early prototype through production, working across backend services and user-facing applications. Own the design of the systems that let automated workflows run reliably, and partner with product and domain experts to turn real-world needs into dependable software. What you'll do

• Build and evolve a software platform that runs automated, AI-driven workflows, including state handling, tool integration, orchestration, permissions and human review steps.
• Prototype new product experiences quickly and turn the strongest ones into production-quality software.
• Create test suites, regression checks and release criteria that gauge quality, reliability, safety, speed and cost.
• Add monitoring and tracing across model behavior, errors and end-to-end workflow results so issues are easier to debug and fix.
• Work closely with domain experts, product leaders and fellow engineers to turn real workflows into trustworthy software.

Requirements

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience running LLM-based systems in production, including tool calling, orchestration and context handling.
• Experience designing and building a product end to end.
• Background in healthcare or another highly regulated domain.
• Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript across backend and front-end work.
• Hands-on practice measuring the quality of AI model output and keeping it stable over time, through automated testing or runtime monitoring.
• Ability to explain technical tradeoffs clearly to non-technical colleagues.
• Ability to work hybrid from the New York office.

Bonus points

• Prior work on internal frameworks that coordinate or run automated software tasks.
