Forward Deployed Engineer

About the company Our client is an artificial intelligence company. The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Engineer who rolls out a software platform in client settings, works through setup problems on site with customer staff, and acts as the technical partner to sales and account leads. Part of the time goes to core engineering work. What you'll do

• Deploy the product inside customer environments, including on-site installs when needed.
• Work with customer teams to configure, troubleshoot and improve implementations.
• Act as the technical contact for go-to-market and account leads during rollouts.
• Contribute to core product engineering when deployment needs call for it.
• Travel to customer sites around the world as required.

Requirements

What we're looking for

• 1 to 5 years of engineering experience at a high-growth or AI-focused startup.
• Solid grounding in software development, with the skill to take on product engineering tasks as needed.
• Proven ability to deploy and operate software directly in customer environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally to customer sites. Bonus points
• Prior experience deploying software in customer environments or working on site with customers.
• Experience at an AI-focused or other high-growth startup.
• Comfort with technical roles that involve working directly with clients abroad.
