Field Sales Representative

About the company Our client is a robotics company. The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own new business across a regional territory, winning many smaller accounts and guiding each one from first conversation to go-live. Split your time between an office base and visits to customer sites, and act as the main contact through rollout. What you'll do

• Prospect and close a steady flow of regional accounts with fast sales cycles from introduction to installation.
• Spend about half your working time visiting customers in person, mainly across California, with occasional trips elsewhere in the country.
• Develop a repeatable sales process and apply it across many accounts, drawing on referrals from existing customers.
• Guide opportunities beyond middle management to the final buying decision, and work alongside colleagues on larger deals.
• Serve as the primary contact during rollout, coordinating timing with the deployment team around equipment that is rarely idle.

Requirements

What we're looking for

• Background selling products or services into industrial, trades or field-based sectors, or direct experience working in them.
• Credibility and an easy rapport with practical, hands-on buyers.
• Ability to work from the office five days a week.
• Comfort with frequent travel, around half of the working time, both within the state and across the country.
• A resourceful, bold, persistent approach to winning business. Bonus points
• Prior experience with a large contractor, equipment rental business or similar employer in the field.
