This will include running fans and dryers to achieve acceptable grade. Load hoppers to feed machines with products, using forklifts, suction gates, shovels, pitchforks and other equipment. Weigh crop-filled containers, and record weights and other identifying information. Place products in containers according to grade. This may include bags or totes. Weigh products or estimate their weight, visually or by feel. Clean grain to separate foreign matter. Discard inferior or defective products or foreign matter, and place acceptable products in containers for further processing. Guide products to regulate flow through machines, and to discard diseased or rotten products. monitor and report grain moisture and grades. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning conditioning equipment, storage areas, and surrounding facilities. disassembly and reassembly of components for replacement of bearings, lubricants, filters, parts, chains, belts and worn components, and surfacing and welding of cracks. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the team. Run fans and other equipment to condition grain and control moisture levels.
