Turret Forklift Operator

Are you a precision-driven operator who feels right at home navigating high-bay aisles and reaching tall heights? We’re looking for a skilled Turret Truck Forklift Operator to join our client's fast-paced distribution team. In this role, you won't just move pallets - you’ll manage critical inventory flow within our Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) system, ensuring accuracy, speed, and safety at every turn.

salary: $35,879 - $35,880 per year shift: First work hours: 5 AM - 2 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a turret truck (VNA) to pick, stage, put away, and retrieve pallets.
• Load, unload, and transfer incoming and outgoing freight safely without damaging product, racking, or equipment.
• Perform daily pre-operational equipment inspections (battery, controls, hydraulics, safety features) and report any maintenance needs or faults immediately.
• Assist with cross-functional warehouse equipment as cross-trained (e.g., reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, electric pallet jacks).
• Utilize RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, confirm put-away locations, and record picked items accurately.
• Perform routine cycle counts, stock consolidations, and location updates to maintain high inventory accuracy.
• Inspect incoming freight for damage, discrepancies, or incorrect counts and escalate issues to warehouse leadership.
