Original job description
As a Transaction Processing Associate, you will be the backbone of daily document imaging and data validation workflows. You will handle high-volume digital scanning, verify image clarity, reconcile batches, and solve routine exceptions to ensure records are processed seamlessly. This position is ideal for focused, organized individuals who enjoy heads-down, independent work within a structured team environment. If you have an eagle eye for detail, organizational habits, and experience working with production scanners or imaging software, you will thrive in this role. Responsibilities Prepare and organize incoming documents for scanning by removing fasteners, sorting batches, and verifying chain-of-custody standards. Operate high-volume document scanners and imaging software to capture clean, high-resolution digital files efficiently. Review scanned batches for clarity, orientation, and completeness; index and validate records accurately against established guidelines. Resolve routine scanning and indexing exceptions, perform rescans when needed, and conduct basic equipment cleaning and troubleshooting. Maintain strict document confidentiality, throughput standards, and batch integrity with limited supervision. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of experience in document imaging, transaction processing, records management, or high-volume production scanning preferred. Hands-on proficiency with commercial scanning equipment, indexing tools, and imaging software. Sharp attention to detail with proven ability to detect quality defects and maintain turnaround deadlines. Solid understanding of data security and confidentiality protocols, accompanied by clear written and verbal communication skills.
