Salesforce is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Front End / Full Stack Engineer to join the Digital Ecosystem Engineering team. In this role, you will design and build innovative solutions for the Salesforce.com website platform, creating engaging, high-performance web experiences for visitors and customers exploring the Salesforce ecosystem. Working in an agile team of four, you will drive frontend architecture decisions, champion technical excellence, and integrate AI-first practices into daily software delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver innovative, scalable web solutions for the Salesforce.com website platform to engage visitors and customers navigating the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Develop components, interactive pipelines, and systems utilizing standards-compliant HTML5, ES6+, CSS3, Web Components, and WordPress.
• Integrate AI-powered development tools (Cursor, Claude, Codex, Slackbot, Agentforce) into daily workflows to optimize velocity and foster team-wide AI adoption.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, UX designers, and performance engineers to create customer-centric features while maintaining platform reliability.
• Formulate test strategies, establish automation frameworks, and execute unit and functional tests (TDD) to drive high code coverage and software quality.
• Present architectural designs for review, mentor fellow team members, and review peer code within a hybrid engineering quality model.

qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

3 to 9 years of professional software engineering experience building large-scale, complex web applications.

Proven expertise with React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

Hands-on experience developing with Web Components / Lightning Web Components (LWC).

Strong working proficiency with modern build and developer tooling including Git/GitHub, npm, Yarn, Webpack, Heroku, and Splunk.

Demonstrated fluency using AI-assisted engineering tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex) in daily software development.

In-depth understanding of web performance optimization, security fundamentals, object-oriented concepts, and MVC architecture.

Solid experience with front-end testing methodologies and test-driven development.

Ability to work effectively in a fully remote setup aligned with CST/PST business hours.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with additional front-end libraries or frameworks (Angular, Vue, Ember).

Experience with testing and automation frameworks such as Jest or Cucumber.

Working knowledge of WordPress content management and theme/component integration.

Prior experience with enterprise Salesforce tools (Agentforce, Slackbots).
