Pay Rate: $18.50 / hour

Randstad is hiring a Sanitation Worker for immediate placement in a food production facility in Southbridge, MA. This role is essential to ensuring plant equipment and facilities are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and inspection-ready each day.

salary: $18.49 - $18.5 per hour shift: Third work hours: 9 PM - 5:30 AM education: High School

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, soap, rinse, sanitize, and reassemble production machinery, tanks (bulk sugar, oil, egg), floors, walls, and drains.
• Sanitize all food contact surfaces prior to production startup and perform pre-op sanitation inspections.
• Collect environmental samples/swabs and complete required sanitation start-up logs.
• Test chemical concentration and pH levels to maintain food safety compliance.
• Work on Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) tasks and clean down schedules.
• Maintain plant common areas (restrooms, break rooms) and monitor exterior grounds and pest control checks.
• Handle chemical sanitizers safely according to updated safety training.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 7 hours at one time
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
