location: Hauppauge, New York job type: Contract salary: $20 - 25 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Associates

responsibilities:

• Perform electrical, environmental, vibration, and mechanical testing on relays and related products within the Reliability Test Lab.
• Prepare test samples using small hand tools and soldering equipment while operating specialized test fixtures.
• Run automated test equipment, oscilloscopes, and DMMs to collect, analyze, and maintain accurate test data.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair while ensuring full compliance with corporate quality and safety standards.
• Assist in preparing detailed test reports and collaborate with lab supervision to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

qualifications:

Minimum 1-2 years of technical experience or a technical degree (Electrical or Mechanical preferred), or 3-5 years of testing experience.

Solid electro-mechanical comprehension, ability to interpret customer prints, and strong soldering skills with good manual dexterity.

Self-motivated team player with strong problem-solving skills, basic MS Office experience, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly.
