Receiving Clerk

A leading food manufacturer based in Suffolk County, NY, is seeking a detail-oriented Receiving & Inventory Clerk to join their team, with immediate openings across all three shifts paying $21 to $23 per hour. Responsibilities

• Enter incoming shipments, bills of lading (BOLs), packing slips, and purchase orders (POs) into the warehouse management/ERP software accurately and promptly.
• Compare physical delivery quantities against vendor paperwork and purchase orders; identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or missing items.
• Monitor stock movements, update lot numbers, track expiration dates, and reconcile daily receiving logs against physical inventory.
• Ensure inbound raw ingredients and packaging materials have corresponding Certificates of Analysis (COA) and meet quality/food safety guidelines (HACCP/GMP standards).
• Coordinate closely with dock workers, quality assurance (QA), purchasing, and accounting to resolve receipt variances or delivery delays.
• Maintain digital and physical archives of manifests, receiving sheets, temperature logs, and vendor invoices.
