Quality Inspector

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Inspector to join our team. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet company and customer specifications, quality standards, and production requirements. salary: $28 - $34 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods according to established specifications.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
• Identify defects, inconsistencies, and non-conforming products.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Communicate quality issues to production and management personnel.
• Assist with investigating the root cause of quality problems.
• Verify corrective actions and ensure non-conforming products are properly identified and controlled.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, work instructions, and inspection procedures.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections as required.
• Maintain inspection equipment and ensure measuring tools are properly calibrated.
• Follow all company quality, safety, and operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
• Support continuous improvement and quality-assurance activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
