Quality Inspector

As a quality assurance associate, you will be responsible for inspecting materials and packaging to make sure they meet quality requirements. The job involves the completion of daily QA reports and documentation. Dimensional and visual inspection using hand tools (calipers, micrometers, pin/thread/height gauges), blueprint reading, basic GD&T understanding, inspection documentation, and familiarity with electronics standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001).

salary: $18 - $22 per hour shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing inspections, including Incoming/Pre-production, In-process, Final Inspection and Pre-Ship Inspection.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of manufactured parts and assemblies in accordance with engineered drawings.
• Proficient in using micrometers, calipers, thread & pin gauges, no-go gauges, height, and angle gauges to verify mechanical part compliance.
• Measures dimensions such as length, height, and distance between reference points to ensure product meets specifications.
• Compile data and documents findings and provide information regarding rework/reject data to more experienced personnel for validation.

The essential functions of this role include:
