Production Assembler

This position performs frequently rigorous tasks such as, mounting, cleaning, washing, and inspection of components under a microscope. These processes require knowledge of use of various equipment such as bake ovens, ultrasonic cleaners, as well as various tools such as microscopes, hand brushes and hand tools. The assembler will also load and operate various automated equipment and perform a variety of tasks in conjunction with component assembly.

salary: $15 - $15.01 per hour shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

• Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and performing fine motor tasks.
• Knowledge of components, specifications, SOPs, and testing processes is a Plus.
• Ability to work cohesively with peers and supervisors
• Ability to perform fine motor tasks; using microscopes, hand tools, and precision instruments for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling small components.
• Accountable for addressing any issues in their cell areas to the supervisor
• Able to speak, read, and write in English to follow instruction, procedures, and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to work with ITAR data without a license

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
