responsibilities:

• Support plant operations through continuous process reviews to enhance productivity, efficiency, and safety.
• Identify operational challenges and engineer innovative, cost-effective process solutions and alternative technologies.
• Manage capital projects under $1M from concept through approval, and serve as process liaison on larger engineering initiatives.
• Develop technical design packages, including P&IDs, material and energy balances, cost justifications, and regulatory evaluations.
• Maintain plant design files and process safety management (PSM) records while verifying contract engineering packages for accuracy.

qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

3+ years of experience in process engineering or project management within a regulated GMP pharmaceutical environment, including CAPA and deviation management.

Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, or Smartsheet; experience with AutoCAD, stable isotopes, or gas distillation design is preferred.
