Principal Full Stack Engineer

location: Durham, North Carolina job type: Contract salary: $81 - 82 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

• 9+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining full stack customer facing
• applications at enterprise scale
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with a focus on delivering high-quality software
• Advanced hands-on expertise with Angular (11+), HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern front-end patterns
• Proven backend development experience using Java (11+), Spring Boot, and open-source technologies

qualifications:

Experience designing and building RESTful APIs, microservices, and micro front-end architectures

Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, Git/GitHub, Datadog, and CI/CD pipelines

Cloud native development experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, including secure and scalable deployments
