We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator. This is a hybrid position based in Westchester County, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and processing multi-state payroll for over 500 employees, ensuring high accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery. You will serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and work closely with Finance and HR to maintain accurate records and reconciliations. Qualifications
- Multi-state payroll processing experience
- Hands-on experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, Paylocity, or UKG (ADP Workforce Now a plus)
- Understanding of multi-state tax withholding rules, wage and hour regulations, and statutory deductions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient, customer-service-oriented approach to resolving employee issues.
salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
- Accurately process multi-state payroll for 500+ hourly and salaried employees.
- Serve as the main contact for employee payroll inquiries; investigate and promptly resolve payroll discrepancies or adjustments.
- Reconcile payroll reports after each processing period to ensure accurate disbursements, general ledger alignment, and accurate record-keeping.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local payroll tax laws, garnish requests, benefit deductions, and multi-state labor regulations.
