Packaging Mechanic

Ensure uninterrupted plant productivity by keeping automated high-speed packaging lines running at maximum efficiency! We are hiring a skilled Packaging Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, rapid diagnostic repairs, and precise equipment line changeovers across modern automated filling, capping, labeling, and cartoning machinery in a high-volume manufacturing plant.

salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid repair and troubleshooting on high-speed packaging equipment during downtime.
• Execute planned preventive maintenance programs to ensure maximum line reliability.
• Perform line changeovers, adjusting machinery for varying product dimensions and formats.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic actuators, conveyor systems, sensors, and mechanical drives.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to minimize waste and increase throughput.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
