Mine Engineer

job summary:

Leading mining organization is seeking a Mine Engineer in the Marquette, Michigan area. The ideal candidate will possess experience with long range planning, utilizing software to design geology models and 10k reporting. This role comes with a very competitive salary ranging from $140k to $150k plus an annual bonus. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

responsibilities:

• Direct, coordinate and participate on mine planning activities and procedures to meet established plans, budgets and targets of performance for Mine Engineering sections and in accordance with company policies and SEC rules.
• Lead in mine engineering and mine design contributions to companies business development initiatives.
• Lead in economic mineral evaluations, involving procedures of mine engineering, mine designs, economic mineral analysis.
• Develop standards of essential planning activities of and for the Mine Engineering sections of essential and install best practices.
• Conduct audit on Mine Engineering activities to ensure compliance to company mine planning standards.
