Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a maintenance technician for a well established wire company in Bristol, CT. The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience as a maintenance technician/mechanic in a manufacturing environment. Experience maintaining and repairing wire drawers, rolling mills is preferred but not required. Some electrical experience is preferred. This is a 1st shift, full time, direct hire opportunity.

salary: $40,000 - $80,000 per year shift: First work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Repair wire drawers, rolling mills, and turks head machines
• Use lathe, bridgeport, surface grinders, saws, welding machines
• Mike the following electrical repairs
• Replace damaged boards
• Replace damaged cords
• Replace damaged coils in the furnaces
• Replaced damaged switches, outlets, and other related items
