Maintenance Technician

salary: $66,560 - $66,561 per year shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

• This position is 50% mechanical work and 50% electrical work.
• Required Experience: basic mechanical knowledge and application of compressed air, hydraulics, and pneumatics, basic electrical, welding, pumps, and preventative maintenance.
• Must-Have your own tools
• Must-Have: Read and interpret electrical schematics
• Must-Have: Utilize electric meters and mechanical tools to diagnose and execute repairs on 480 VAC 3-phase electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Must-Have: Experience with troubleshooting PLCs
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on automated equipment, hydraulic presses, robotics, assembly machines, boilers, and air compressors.
• Perform welding, soldering, brazing, and minor facility repairs, liaising with outside contractors for major overhauls as needed.
• Transport materials and components safely using hand transports or forklifts.
• Uphold strict 5S standards for organization, safety, and housekeeping across all work areas.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and materials teams to meet operational goals with minimal supervision.
