What You’ll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance and rapid repairs on conveyors, forklifts, dock doors, and automated gear.
• Troubleshoot electrical components (motors, sensors, relays, control panels) and hydraulic systems (pumps, valves, cylinders).
• Read schematics, use diagnostic gear, and log tasks cleanly in the CMMS system.
• Work with operations/safety teams to eliminate downtime and oversee on-site contractors.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 3+ years in industrial maintenance (distribution, warehousing, or manufacturing).
• Technical Skills: strong electrical/hydraulic troubleshooting skills and ability to read technical manuals.
• Requirements: HS Diploma/GED (tech degree preferred), 18+ years old, ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform proactive preventive maintenance and rapid repairs on conveyors, forklifts, dock doors, and automated facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, including motors, sensors, relays, and control panels.
• Diagnose and service hydraulic systems (pumps, valves, cylinders) using diagnostic tools and schematics.
• Record preventive maintenance tasks and work orders within the facility’s CMMS system.
• Work closely with operations and safety leadership to eliminate downtime and keep equipment running smoothly.
• Oversee third-party contractors on-site to ensure work meets facility safety and quality standards.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 6 hours at one time
