Maintenance Mechanic

This position offers the opportunity for career advancement into a Maintenance Lead role for an individual who demonstrates strong technical skills, initiative, leadership potential, and a commitment to equipment reliability and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities over time, including coordinating maintenance activities, prioritizing work orders, supporting preventive maintenance programs, and assisting in guiding other maintenance team members.

salary: $52,000 - $83,000 per year shift: First work hours: 6:30 AM - 4 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain manufacturing machinery, production equipment, and associated mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce equipment failures and unplanned downtime.
• Repair or replace mechanical components, including bearings, belts, chains, gears, motors, pumps, valves, and other machine parts.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems within the employee’s training and qualifications.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and support production in restoring equipment to safe operating condition.
