Machine Operator

• Perform scheduled daily and weekly preventive maintenance routines (cleaning sensors, replacing toner/ink cartridges, lubricating moving parts, replacing waste containers).
• Log equipment service issues, run diagnostic routines, and coordinate with manufacturer technicians for repairs when necessary.
• Track paper, substrate, and finishing consumable stock levels; report low inventory to shop leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production floor compliant with shop safety standards.

salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate production-grade digital presses (e.g., Konica Minolta, Xerox, Ricoh, or Canon production units).
• Run wide-format printers, flatbed systems, and vinyl cutters for banners, posters, and specialty graphics.
• Review job tickets, digital proofs, and customer specifications to verify print settings, imposition, stock weights, colors, and margins prior to running full production.
• Perform real-time quality control checks during production runs to ensure precise registration, color consistency, and print clarity.
