Logistics Dispatcher

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Dispatcher to join our growing transportation and logistics team in Farmingdale, NY.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience dispatching LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight deliveries, knowledge of the New York City metropolitan area, and the ability to coordinate efficient delivery routes. salary: $28 - $30 per hour shift: First work hours: 11 AM - 7 PM education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers for daily LTL freight deliveries.
• Plan and manage delivery routes throughout NYC and Long Island.
• Communicate with drivers to monitor delivery schedules and resolve routing issues.
• Ensure timely and efficient pickup and delivery operations.
• Manage dispatch schedules and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding delivery updates.
• Handle daily dispatch challenges and adjust routes as needed.

Skills

• Routing (1 year of experience is preferred)
