HR Project Manager

Randstad is looking for an HR Project Manager to support our client, a prominent global scientific organization. Workday implementation experience would be a huge plus!!

Position Details:

• Pay Rate: $65.00 – $69.50 / hour (W2)
• Duration: 3-month contract (with potential extension)
• Location: 100% Remote (Must reside and be authorized to work in the United States)

About the Role As the HR Project Manager, you will lead project management efforts for a critical Job & Skills Architecture (JSA) initiative. You will ensure key milestones align with Workday implementation timelines, maintain project governance, and drive clear communication across internal business partners and external vendor teams.

Qualifications Must-haves:

• 7+ years of dedicated project or program management experience.
• PMP Certification.
• Proven experience leading HR technology transformations and Workday implementation projects.
• Demonstrated track record managing external vendors and third-party partners.
• Expertise in project governance, risk mitigation, and executive stakeholder engagement.

Nice-to-haves:

• Direct experience with Job Architecture or Skills Framework initiatives.
• Background or familiarity with Compensation, Total Rewards, or HRBP functions.
• Experience navigating enterprise-wide change management frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Drive Milestone & Schedule Tracking: Maintain the integrated project plan, track critical deliverables against schedules, and publish weekly status reports.
• Coordinate Workstreams: Align cross-functional initiatives across JSA, Workday implementation, Compensation, HR Business Partners, and Change Management teams.
• Manage Project Risks: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks, maintaining the project RAID log, dependency tracker, and decision documentation.
• Facilitate Governance & Alignment: Prepare executive-level reporting dashboards, coordinate sponsor decision meetings, and oversee external vendor deliverables.
