Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician with a background in HVAC systems to join our team in Macon, Georgia. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and overall appearance of our commercial properties and facilities.

From routine mechanical maintenance and emergency HVAC troubleshooting to general plumbing and electrical repairs, you will play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly year-round.

salary: $41,600 - $45,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Associate

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• HVAC Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on commercial/residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (chillers, rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps).
• Facility Inspections: Conduct regular walkthroughs to inspect building systems, identify potential hazards, and schedule preventive maintenance.
• General Building Maintenance: Address general plumbing fixes, minor electrical repairs, drywall/paint touch-ups, door hardware, and general carpentry.
• Work Order Management: Prioritize, track, and complete daily work orders efficiently using our facility management software.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests, system failures, or severe weather calls as needed.
• Vendor & Supply Management: Assist with vendor site visits, inventory tracking, and ordering essential maintenance parts and equipment.
