job summary:

Engineering Technician wanted in Fremont, CA! Join Our Client, a premier technology leader. Requires an AS in EE/equivalent & lab testing skills. 1 year contract, with possible extension!

location: Fremont, California job type: Contract salary: $25 - 35 per hour work hours: 6am to 4pm education: No Degree Required

responsibilities:

• Set up and operate specialized laboratory testing instrumentation and diagnostic equipment.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and functional testing on advanced hardware and electronic assemblies.
• Support prototype sample builds and assist in documenting test and assembly procedures.
• Analyze test results, document failures, and collaborate with our client's engineering teams on corrective actions and failure analyses.
• Conduct routine component rework, including basic soldering and hardware interface modifications.
