Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and support the continuous operation of high-speed manufacturing machinery and automated equipment across our mattress production facility. Working directly alongside Class "A" Electricians and maintenance leads, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance, assisting with equipment calibrations using precision instruments, and running conduit to initiate new electrical circuits. This role requires technical aptitude, including the ability to read and interpret a tape measure, analyze complex technical drawings and schematics, and apply advanced shop mathematics and handbook formulas. Additional responsibilities include managing parts inventory, maintaining interior and exterior plant lighting systems, and upholding strict safety standards while effectively communicating and collaborating with team leaders.

salary: $61,755 - $63,169.6 per year shift: Second work hours: 2 PM - 12:30 AM education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

Responsible for all electronic and computer components of all plant production equipment is installed, repaired, and maintained to assure that the machinery is operating at an optimum production level necessary to manufacture product(s) for internal and external customers on a timely basis.

Position Scope: Communicates with the department Lead Person, Maintenance Manager, Production Managers and all the other employees in the department to make sure that all scheduled and unscheduled repairs are repaired in a timely manner. Works in a normal maintenance and manufacturing environment with exposure to temperature changes. Sometimes has to work in confined spaces. Major challenges involve working independently on complicated computerized systems with the least amount of downtime of the equipment and the extensive knowledge of the multitude of computer electrical systems. Must have a wide variety of electrical hand tools.
