Electrical Designer

job summary:

We are searching for an Electrical Designer in the Roanoke, VA area to work for a client that provides custom building solutions for the energy and industrial sector. This role will be responsible for the design, development, alteration, or modification of shelter drawings and Electrical systems.

This is a direct-hire role with great benefits(Medical, Dental, PTO, etc.) and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

location: Roanoke, Virginia job type: Permanent salary: $60,000 - 90,000 per year work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Associates

responsibilities:

• Prepares a wide variety of detailed drawings for facility electrical design
• Use customer specification and supplied drawings to perform facility design
• Makes a variety of calculations following standard procedures
• Prepare work orders (detailed BOM) while drawings are in progress

qualifications:

-BS in Electrical Engineering is preferred but not required

-4+ years of electrical design experience

-Experience with Revit or AutoCAD
