Electrical Designer

job summary:

Our client seeks a Hybrid Electrical Designer across multiple locations, including Portland, Hillsboro, and Corvallis, OR; Tempe, AZ; and Pittsburgh, PA. Qualified candidates should possess a High school diploma or equivalent, alongside at least two years of experience in electrical design and AutoCAD.

responsibilities:

• Prepare drawings and basic electrical designs for power, life safety, and telecommunications servicing semiconductor manufacturing tools using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate directly with engineers and package design leads to balance workloads and deliver packages under tight deadlines.
• Work as part of a multi-discipline, highly interactive Tool Installation team focused on high-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects.
• Develop one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and electrical plan view drawings following established design criteria and client standards.
• Collaborate closely across design disciplines and team members to support project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree in electrician, instrumentation & controls, or construction fields preferred).

Minimum 2 years of experience with AutoCAD, electrical design and layout requirements (one-line diagrams, risers, plan views), and MS Office Suite.

Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills; exposure to NFPA 70 (NEC) and semiconductor or industrial facility experience preferred.
