Distribution Associate

Randstad is currently working with a Manufacturing Company in Elgin, IL. They are currently hiring Distribution Associates at their facility. This is a Direct Hire position with our client. Qualifications:

• High School diploma or the equivalent training required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Understanding and compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Basic math skills and interpretation of data.
• Verbal and written communication skills.

salary: $45,000 - $46,592 per year shift: Second work hours: 1 PM - 9:30 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

• Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, track, verify, and record inventory movements.
• Prints labels and affixes shipping and special labels on cartons for designated customers.
• Prepare customer orders on pallet to meet customer needs.
• Operate Sit-Down and Stand-Up Forklifts to move and store cartons on racks in warehouse.
• Verifies and examines shipments for accuracy using RF scanner.
• Moves product in and out of warehouse using First-in, First-out (FIFO) method.
• Complies with safety and quality rules and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
