Diesel Mechanic

We are hiring a dedicated Diesel Mechanic to inspect, repair, and maintain our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles and industrial machinery. In this critical role, you will troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, perform regular preventative maintenance, and ensure our equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant safety standards.

salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year shift: First work hours: 7:30 AM - 4 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults across commercial diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication schedules.
• Repair and replace worn or broken components such as transmissions, brake systems, steering, and differentials.
• Conduct comprehensive safety inspections and road tests before returning repaired vehicles to service.
• Maintain organized service records, repair logs, and inventory documentation for parts and supplies.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
