CNC Operator (Mill)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Mill Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring computer numerical control milling machines to produce high-accuracy metal and plastic components. salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year shift: First work hours: 7:30 AM - 4 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

• Load raw stock materials and set up tooling, fixtures, and attachments according to technical work orders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Monitor milling cycles, feed rates, spindle speeds, and machine offsets to prevent tool wear or defects.
• Inspect finished components using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
• Perform daily machine maintenance, fluid checks, and chip removal to keep mills running efficiently.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
