Business Analyst

job summary:

Join our Application Managed Services team supporting enterprise document modernization initiatives across key business and technology groups. In this role, you will analyze business processes, define future-state solutions, and bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. You will also oversee end-to-end testing cycles and process documentation to ensure high-quality software solution delivery.

responsibilities:

• Assess current-state operations, gather customer requirements, and define future-state business solutions and process models.
• Own backlog management, acceptance criteria development, training materials, and detailed business process documentation.
• Coordinate and execute functional testing, regression testing, migration testing, and production validation.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test scripts and conduct root-cause research on production issues.
• Engage and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (including Enterprise Document Solutions, IAP, and Planning Group) to align business requirements with technology solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert in solution design discussions and mentor junior peers on best practices.

qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree required.

Must be locally based in St. Louis and able to work on-site in the office.

Proven expertise in Requirements Analysis, synthesizing business needs into clear specifications.

Strong background in Regression Testing, Functional Testing, and test script creation/execution.

Advanced proficiency with Atlassian JIRA for agile backlog and issue tracking.

Advanced proficiency in Business Process Documentation and workflow modeling.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience or proficiency in Integration Testing.

Prior experience supporting enterprise document systems or digital modernization initiatives.
