Associate Project Manager Lead

job summary:

This role will provide additional project management support due to an increase in Finance project workload.

• The Associate PM Lead will support large, complex initiatives that span both the business and IT, helping ensure the two areas remain aligned throughout the project.
• The role requires a solid understanding of the different phases of project management and general PM terminology, processes, and methodology.

responsibilities:

• Keep the manager and team informed of plans for the week, including meetings, weekly requirements, priorities, and upcoming activities.
• Lead and facilitate meetings with manager- and director-level stakeholders across Corporate Finance, including Tax, Accounting, Treasury, Real Estate, and Investments, as well as their IT counterparts. This individual will not manage the IT portion of the project but will need to work in lockstep with the IT Project Manager.
• At the beginning of a project, develop the project plan, identify the appropriate stakeholders and resources, ask questions, and proactively determine whether the right people are engaged to move the project forward.
• Document actions, decisions, risks, and open questions. Drive action items through completion and ensure they remain reflected in the overall project/action plan.

qualifications:

• A minimum 9 years of related work experience leading projects and project delivery.
• [OR] Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of 6 years related work experience leading projects and project delivery.
