Assistant Scheduler

job summary:

Assistant Schedulers needed in Akron OH for major construction projects. Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in scheduling and project coordination. Some experience in capital projects, manufacturing, scheduling or construction is preferred.

location: Akron, Ohio job type: Contract to Perm salary: $35 - 40 per hour work hours: 9am to 6pm education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and maintain level 1 to level 2 schedules in Oracle Primavera P6
• Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activities, and activity codes
• Utilize constraints, lags, and leads effectively
• Ability to communicate and understand technical progress of project schedules with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders regarding transmission and distribution line, substation, and/or telecommunication projects
• Ability to integrate and analyze schedule data and information from other sources in excel via formulas, pivot tables, macros, power query, Power BI, etc.
• Ability to handle multiple schedules across different project
