Accounts Payable Specialist

We are looking for a Temporary Accounts Payable / Expense Processing Specialist to support the firm’s Accounts Payable functions by performing high-volume data entry and processing of invoices and expense transactions. This role is responsible for accurately entering financial data into the firm’s accounting system, managing the AP inbox, and ensuring transactions are processed in accordance with firm policies and procedures. This position requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to follow established processes, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

salary: $28 - $35 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of invoices and expense transactions daily, including creating vouchers and entering cost and expense data into the firm’s accounting system
• Monitor and manage the Accounts Payable mailbox, ensuring timely review and routing of incoming invoices and requests
• Review submissions for completeness and required documentation prior to processing
• Support corporate card reconciliation processing as needed
• Follow established procedures and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Maintain organized records and supporting documentation
• Handle confidential financial information with discretion
