Regulatory Affairs Manager
Position Title: Regulatory Affairs Manager
Department: Accounting
Reports To: Vice President of Finance
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance, the Regulatory Affairs Manager oversees organizational compliance with federal, state, and local telecommunications statutes, tariff administration, Universal Service Fund (USF) programs, wholesale circuit billing assurance, and inter-carrier settlements. This role aids with the preparation of jurisdictional cost studies, assists with Universal Service programs (Schools and Libraries / E-Rate, Rural Health Care, and Lifeline), and could potentially help with Continuing Property Records (CPR) maintenance and fixed-asset regulatory accounting. Serving as a key financial and regulatory partner across the business, this individual bridges the gap between external regulatory authorities (FCC, USAC, NECA, state PUCs) and internal finance, billing, legal, and network engineering teams to safeguard revenue integrity, optimize cost recovery, and minimize statutory liability.
