R2T, Inc. is accepting applications for an Ecologist for the position of GDOT Ecologist to join our growing Environmental group in Atlanta, GA area.

R2T, Inc. is a Civil & Environmental Engineering firm providing a full range of engineering services.

Specific responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Evaluates selects, and applies standard scientific techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptions and modifications.
• Conducts field surveys and water quality and stormwater monitoring.
• Receives instruction on specific assignment objectives, complex features and possible solutions. Assistance is furnished on unusual problems and is reviewed for application of sound professional judgment.
• Provide additional program support as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years related work experience (in most cases).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Technology or related field is required.
• Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely with written and verbal communication.
• Team player, a professional who is eager to collaborate and communicate with project team members. Must have ability to interface with other disciplines and employees.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license.
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
