Original job description
- Design, implement and optimize industrial control systems and automation solutions at customer locations.
- Lead project teams in planning, executing, and delivering automation projects, including designing, installation, debugging/testing and monitoring systems for bugs; and provide onsite support.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, Robot tasks and industrial networks.
- Develop and maintain control system documentation and specifications
- Perform system upgrades and modification to existing automation systems
- Install commission production lines, new control systems and equipment; and install equipment and electrical connections.
- Work with customers to define project scope and requirements.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Train customer personnel in system operation and maintenance.
- Travel to customer sites across the United States.
