Welder

Quikstir, Inc. is seeking a motivated and dependable Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team in Port Clinton, Ohio. We manufacture industrial pumps, mixers, and specialty equipment used in the construction industry. This position involves welding and fabricating metal components, assembling machine parts, and working with a variety of materials and fabrication equipment. The ideal candidate takes pride in their workmanship, pays close attention to detail, and is eager to develop their skills in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities - Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metals, including mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. - Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings. - Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications and measurements. - Use welding fixtures, jigs, and measuring tools to ensure accuracy and consistency. - Operate metalworking equipment, including drill presses, press brakes, tube benders, belt sanders, and band saws. - Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and proper fit. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. - Assist with other fabrication and manufacturing tasks as needed. Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Basic knowledge of MIG and/or TIG welding. - Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools preferred. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. - Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. - Willingness to learn new skills and welding techniques. - Previous welding or fabrication experience preferred, but not required.
