Press Operator Injection Molding Plastics

2nd Shift

Full time 40 hours a week, 2:50PM to 11PM, pay is $16.00 hourly to start.

Training on 1st ($15.50, then moving perm to 2nd shift.)

• Must have knowledge of plastic injection molding and experience.
• Trouble shoot injection molding machines and startup/ shutdown equipment.
• Find ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Knowledge of resin process temps and drying temps.
• Verify process parameters and implement changes to improve cycle times.
• Monitor process and workstation info in mold setup sheets.
• Work alongside Quality Control to improve process.
• Assure housekeeping standards are met and scrap issues are addressed and fixed.
• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
• Wrap skids.
• Plastic Injection Molding 3+ years.
• Knowledge of fork trucks and pallet jacks.
