Original job description
- Read blueprints, create CNC programs, and execute complex machine set-ups from print to the first finished piece. [1] 2. Read CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) printouts and make machine adjustments to keep parts within precise tolerances. 3. Build basic production fixtures, select/load cutting tools, and complete gage room paperwork. [1] 4. Consult with engineers and quality control to fix problems and train staff on CNC equipment operation and basic set-ups.
