Role Description Quest Industries is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our manufacturing facility, offices, restrooms, break areas, common spaces and grounds.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, takes initiative, and can work independently to complete daily cleaning responsibilities. This position plays an important role in supporting workplace cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and overall facility upkeep.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout designated areas.
• Clean and maintain offices, conference rooms, hallways, breakrooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Clean tables, countertops, appliances, and other surfaces in break areas.
• Wipe down machines as needed.
• Operate a powered floor sweeper to clean and maintain floors throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Sweep, mop and clean around machines in department cells.
• Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and presentable entrance, lobby, and other visitor-facing areas.
• Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, spills, or potential safety hazards.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform additional facility duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, commercial cleaning, or custodial experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow instructions, cleaning schedules, and safety procedures.
• Willingness to learn proper cleaning methods and safe chemical handling.
• Good organizational skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to perform routine physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting cleaning supplies, and moving cleaning equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
